He plays and teaches many styles of music including hymns and gospel, Celtic, classical, light jazz (Charlie Brown), standards, etc.

I have been giving private, one on one instrumental lessons for over 50 years and love what I do! I am very relaxed, easy to get along with, love to laugh and have fun!

Hello! I have been playing piano with my family from the age of 6, pursuing professional piano lessons around the age of 12. After attending college, where I received a BS degree in Music, as well as 5 years' experience accompanying choirs, ensembles, and bands, I began teaching in my own studio and have done so since 2012.

Overall Teacher of the Year on Lessonface! Alison holds a Masters in Music Ed. Fun, experienced & patient teacher. Alison has taught over 20,000 lessons in various instruments and voice to over 550 students in private lessons and small groups, in person and online. Her students range from age 3 through adults. Alison is the co-owner of Strand Studios in NJ.
