I am an award-winning composer and have produced seven CDs of my work, ranging from solo piano to symphonic pieces. My “Mystical Romantic” music is inspired by nature and studies of spiritual philosophy. Andrea Hoyos is a Bogotá-based pianist and singer-songwriter. A graduate of Bogotá’s Pontifica Universidad Javeriana music program, Andrea is an accomplished performer and improviser. The bandleader of two ensembles, Cachicamo and Balandra, her imaginative compositions mix a range of influences Latin folk, to minimalism, cumbia, afrobeat and hip hop.

I am a professional saxophonist, recorder player, improviser, composer, and dedicated educator based in NYC. I've been performing globally since the age of ten and have more than a decade of teaching experience. My education includes a Master’s degree in Jazz Performance from the New England Conservatory in Boston, as well as Bachelor’s degrees in Early Music (Florence, Leipzig)…

Pianist and singer of the Baroque specializing in Musicological studies of the era and the Renaissance. Cellist (degree) having played Baroque cello. Currently not teaching cello, though would coach a cellist or cello student who needs further work, Early Music technique and/or interpretation and/or help with the Alexander Technique.

Welcome to my page! I'm a pianist, composer, and music producer from the US with more than 10 years of teaching experience in piano, music theory, and songwriting. I have a deep passion for music education. I enjoy watching my students progress and seeing the joy that comes with learning to make music!

I am a classically trained piano teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Piano and a Master’s degree in Music Pedagogy from the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU), completed in 2017. Since 2017, I have been teaching piano at the Music School of Cham (Switzerland), working primarily with children and teenagers, as well as adult beginners.

Why are we called to sing? We sing to commune with the depths and heights—the full range of life, but also the Life beyond the self. We channel something both ’of us’ and ‘beyond us.’ If we’re lucky, it is here we discover ecstasy and aliveness. Singing is alchemy. And all is welcome in the realm of song.
