BIO Aidan O’Connor is an emerging band leader, saxophonist, and composer. He is influenced by the likes of Lester Young, John Coltrane, and Sonny Stitt. Aidan plays in a personal style, while still invoking the mainstream jazz tradition. Aidan graduated from the Eastman School of Music in the Spring of 2019, where he earned a BM in Jazz and Contemporary Media.

The goal is to instill a love of music in each student and to develop a students maximum potential from paid performance to a student who plays for pleasure and enjoyment. My neighbor growing up taught voice lessons, and I would go over to her house every single day and watch her teach. After each lesson, I would run over to the piano and attempt to recreate what vocal warmups I had just heard.
