Learn from Great Piano Teachers

I enjoy teaching people of all ages and levels of musical experience. My students have included very young beginners, mature adults studying piano for the first time, and advanced students preparing to begin challenging programs at conservatories of music. I attended Peabody Conservatory for my Bachelor of Music degree.

I have a master's degree from Georgia State University in jazz studies. I have toured with Russell Gunn, Russell Malone, Jimmy Heath, Jeannie Bryson, Jason Marsalis, Rodney Jordan, Melvin Jones, Jazzmeia Horn, and more. I have recorded with Rodney Jordan, Melvin Jones, Joe Gransden, Russell Gunn, Christian Tamburr, Darren English, and more.

I have more than 3 years of experience in music education with ages ranging from 6 years old to college aged students. I started as a music theory tutor while attending Berklee College of Music in 2017. While tutoring I became a CRLA certified advanced tutor. At Berklee I majored in Professional Music with a concentration in Education, Production and Performance.

As a musician, I have had the privilege of composing for a variety of audiovisual media, including films, TV shows, video games, and commercials. I am proud to say that my work has earned me recognition in the form of an award for Best Original Soundtrack. As a teacher, I have over 10 years of experience and have had the pleasure of working with more than 30 private students.

Jim Fox was born in Ukiah, California and developed an interest in music at an early age. Jim always had an interest in the Blues. While attending high school he played with several local bands. Jim also was interested in jazz along with rock and popular music. While in collage Jim played with jazz groups along with rock bands.

Gonzalo Llanes Mena holds a Master’s degree in Music from the Manhattan School of Music. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Opera National Center, playing Opera, Musical Theater and Popular Music.

I am a flute performer from Romania. I have graduated the BA and the MA at the National University of Music Bucharest, and I am currently following the PhD program at the same university. I have a lot of experience in teaching the flute, as I have been teaching private lessons for 2 years. I have also worked as a teacher at Maarif International School of Bucharest.

Hi! My name is Lianne and I have been singing and teaching in New York City for the past 10 years. I recently moved to the Midwest to pursue a degree in Speech Pathology with a focus in vocal disorders and production. This will only enhance my goal of helping students to not only love singing, but find their healthiest and most authentic sound.

Prisca Dávila, Venezuelan pianist, singer and composer, is recognized for her particular musical language, based on the fusion of melodies and genres of the traditional music of her country, with the technique, dynamics and nuances of classical music and contemporary harmony and jazz improvisation.
