The bandleader of two ensembles, Cachicamo and Balandra, her imaginative compositions mix a range of influences Latin folk, to minimalism, cumbia, afrobeat and hip hop.

I first wanted to play the cello when I was 7 years old, after listening to Saint-Saëns' 'The Swan' being performed at a local concert. Shortly after, I began to have cello lessons, and absolutely loved it! I have been lucky to study with fantastic teachers during my education, most recently with David Cohen (principal cellist of the London Symphony Orchestra).
