I have studied with some of the best saxophonists and clarinetists in the world, and have over 15 years of teaching experience. I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Saxophone Performance at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Prior to this, I lived and studied in Malaysia, where I obtained my bachelor's degree and taught private saxophone lessons to students of various ages, as well as coached saxophone sections at local middle and high schools.

Hello! I’m Daniel — a certified, passionate teacher of saxophone, flute, clarinet & recorder with over 20 years of experience. I come from a family of classical musicians — my grandfather was a music doctor and conductor in germany, my father played in a symphony for 25 years, and my aunt led a music conservatory for 30 years.

I have played saxophone and piano since I was a child, so I can relate to most music students—practically all of them! I graduated from the Amadeo Roldán Conservatory in Havana, Cuba, and continued my music studies at Barry University, where I earned a bachelor’s degree in music, and at University of Miami, where I earned a master’s degree in instrumental performance.

Originally from New Zealand Brent Stanton began playing music professionally at age 16, performing and recording there. In 1978 he moved to Australia to continue study saxophone, flute, clarinet and composition at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. This led to an ongoing and varied performance, recording and teaching career in many music genres over a period of 10 years.

Hey, I’m Leander :) I have been teaching music for the past nine years, both privately and at Musikplus! music school in Berlin. I began teaching after completing the Preparatory Study in Jazz at the Paul Hindemith Music School in 2017. Over the years I have taught both individual students and group classes.

I have been teaching piano, strings, and band instruments (flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, and drums) for more than 30 years in the public schools as well as privately. I have instructed large groups and ensembles, as well as smaller musical groups in and out of the public schools.
