Learn from Great Slide Guitar Teachers

Teaching private lessons for 15 years, my students have ranged in age from six to eighty years old. I work with beginning to advanced guitarists. Everyone, elementary students, hobbyists, singer-songwriters, and performing musicians are welcome in my studio. My goal as a teacher is to help students of all levels improve with their weekly lessons.

From the time I wake up in the morning to the time I go to bed at night, I'm constantly passionate about music. Whether that's music I create on my own or getting the opportunity to help others learn a song they love for the first time, I love all of it!

Hello! My name is Jonny Java Mantra and I was born in the Bronx, NYC. I have been playing guitar for 30 years (since the age of 6.) I am a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and La Guardia HS of Music, Art, and Performing Arts in NYC. I have traveled and toured the world performing for over 15 years and I currently play guitar for the US Army Band in Colorado Springs.

Hello, my name is Jordan! I have over 25 years of guitar teaching experience and over 30 years experience playing in bands and touring acts.

Since beginning his teaching career in 1974 David has taught over 7000 people how to play guitar, Bass or Piano. Some aspiring only to play at home for fun and others to pursue a career in the entertainment industry. Owen Reilly is a versatile guitarist and vocalist with over 20 years’ experience in rock, metal, blues, and country, with added fluency in many other genres. He performs with the Los Angeles metal band Felon 13, regularly performs with the country-rock-blues-jazz group RMS Trio, and plays solo at weddings, parties, and events.

Hi! I'm Andy, and I've been a professional instructor, performer, and songwriter for over 10 years. As an artist, I have toured my original music in the southeast US as a solo musician and bandleader, and recently had my music added to Spotify's 'Best Blues Songs of 2022' editorial playlist.

Bio: Jay Harootunian is a nationally touring artist with the Americana roots band Mojo Birds. His teaching background includes Adjunct Professor of Guitar at San Juan College, band coaching, artist development, and Songwriting Studio Online. He is also the founder of the Durango Sound Project and serves as the Vermont State Coordinator for Music Link.

Brett Rechtfertig has been teaching professionally for 11+ years, is an international touring musician and a graduate of Berklee College of Music. Having played guitar for 25 years, Brett has professional experience onstage and in the studio in virtually all styles of popular music; a range of genres from jazz, blues, funk, folk, country all the way through rock and metal.

John is a Nashville based multi instrumentalist, artist and instructor. Whether you're looking to learn your first chord, sharpen your craft or finally pick up the pedal steel, he is fit to guide you on your musical journey. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2013 and promptly moved to Nashville.
