I’ve been teaching and performing music in the Washington, D.C. area for over three decades. My solo classical guitar performances have garnered me recognition, but I’ve also played in various musical ensembles, ranging from flamenco to jazz to rock. I studied Classical Guitar at Northern Virginia Community College and George Mason University.

My name is Omar, and I'm not your typical teacher. Music teachers usually fall into one of two camps: those close to modern music — rap, pop, the street — and those with classical academic training, deep theory and refined technique, but convinced that real music ended sometime after WW1. I sit in between.

Abigail began her music career at the young age of four years of age with private music classes. She continued her musical studies and went on to complete RCM (Royal Conservatory of Music) exams from Toronto, Ontario passing with First Class Honours.

As an award-winning music educator and performer, I bring unparalleled expertise to private music lessons. I hold degrees from Eastman and Berklee and have received prestigious honors, such as the Outstanding Trumpet Soloist award (elected by Wynton Marsalis) and the Raymond and Maxine Schirmer Prize in Jazz Performance.

Hello! I play 2nd trumpet with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra in Indiana, USA, and I have a master's degree in trumpet from the Cleveland Institute of Music. I have also held positions with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra, in Ohio, and the Richmond Symphony Orchestra in Richmond, Virginia, USA.

Hello! My name is Evan and I am a Music Educator in Manitoba Canada. I am in my first year of classroom Music Education with Frontier School Division, and am looking to create my online teaching studio. I have a Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Education, both from Acadia University, and my specialties are piano, clarinet, and Music Theory.

From absolute beginners to confident guitarists, this journey is designed step by step. I bring 40 years of guitar experience, plus a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, blending creativity and discipline to guide you.. Over the past years, I channeled this creativity into mastering the guitar, specializing in rock and metal.

Pianist Sarah Shipp leads an active career as a performer, teacher, and collaborative pianist. She is a current masters student at Brigham Young University where she teaches group piano classes and private students. Sarah was born in Lusk, Ukraine and lived in an orphanage where music was banned.

Yoanita was born in Surabaya, Indonesia. She plays the violin, piano, guitar, and French horn. Her professional music career started in Shanghai, China, where she obtained a diploma from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 2006 and a Bachelor of Art from East China Normal University in 2010. In May 2023, she obtained a Master of Education from the University of British Columbia.
