Elaina is the shepherdess at Avillion Farm in Efland, NC where she tends flocks of Shetland and Jacob sheep, Angora goats, Suri Alpaca, and cares for a large herd of Angora rabbits. After 30+ years raising fiber-producing livestock and experiencing lots of fibers in various stages of preparation and utilization, I still enjoy all aspects of fiber production, processing and making.

Elizabeth Whitton is a mompreneur who turned her love of wool into a thriving family-run needle felting business called Felted Sky. A self-taught needle felter, she has a knack for designing beautiful small projects that she has turned into a line of needle felting kits suitable for beginners.

Laura Lineman is obsessed with knitting and spinning. She is a developmental editor for the Ply Spinners Guild and Purl Magazine. Laura is also a regular contributor to PLY Magazine and has taught at retreats across the country. If you ask her what her favorite spin to knit project is she will loudly say, “don’t make me choose, I love them all,” but will quietly whisper, “socks.”…

I have been weaving for 40 years, and am a member of Michigan League of Handweavers, HGA, Complex Weavers Guild, and several local guilds. I am a self taught weaver who has benefited from many workshops and conferences over the years. I earned the Handweavers Guild of America Certificate of Excellence - Level 1 in 1986.

Cecelia Campochiaro appeared on the knitting scene in 2015 with her debut book, Sequence Knitting. Knitting was a casual pastime until she had an ah-ha moment in 2010 and realized that interesting textured fabrics could be created by the simple repetition of a sequence of stitches. Sequence Knitting is about texture, and her second book, Making Marls, is about color.

Kimberly first learned to spin in 2009. Within a year she had her first bags of free wool and it has been her passion since then to educate others about this most wonderful fiber! She has taught about fleece, fiber prep and spinning at fiber festivals up and down the east coast, as well as for fiber Guilds.

Margery has a Master's Degree in Education and taught high school special education for over 30 years. In the early 1990's she took several classes in weaving. One weaving class, one yard of fabric and she was hooked. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsman and is a Master Artisan in Handweaving.

Shelagh Jessop is the one-woman-show behind Stuart Moores Textiles, which is named after her great-grandfather. Shelagh is a textile artist and professional natural dyer, specializing in traditional natural dyes and historically accurate dye techniques.

Henry has been building fiber art equipment for over 50 years and enjoys sharing his knowledge of both equipment and fiber. The family business he started in 1971 has introduced many innovations to the fiber arts community and their equipment is known for being not only thoughtfully engineered but visually pleasing and durable as well.
