2-Day Continuous Strand Weaving on the Large Adjustable Loom
About 2-Day Continuous Strand Weaving on the Large Adjustable Loom
Complete a large triangular shawl, a baby blanket or a rectangular scarf using the magical Continuous Strand Weaving Method on our large, adjustable frame looms. This ingenious technique warps the loom as you weave – and you only have to do half the weaving! Basic weaves, color changes, twills, connecting and fixing pieces, and fringing will be covered in class. Great for using handspun and art yarns as there are no reeds and heddles to thread and there is no loom waste! Added bonus, you can try the looms with no pressure to buy.
The capacity for this class is 10 students.
Materials, Equipment, and Supplies the Student Must Bring to Class
Bring 500 to 750yds of yarn in bulky weight (100-150 yds/ 100gr). Students are encouraged to play with color and texture, but please do not bring fuzzy yarns or acrylic for first project. Yarns will also be available for purchase from instructor. Bring scissors.
