I spent some time teaching in China (I can speak a tiny bit of Chinese), and now I am back in the USA to teach online! I have taught ages 4 to 80 at almost every level. A former communications professional living in the San Francisco Bay Area, Amy Snell has been teaching knitters joy and confidence in their craft for nearly 20 years. Amy loves to help knitters explore new techniques and expand the way they think about their knitting.

I am a passionate professional photographer who is dedicated to share my knowledge with people who love photography. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics of photography, or an intermediate photographer looking to improve your skills, I will tailor our lessons to your level of understanding.

Hello! My name is Nathan. I am a professional musician and have taught music students since 2010. As a solo performer, I am a singer-songwriter, pianist, and organist. My original music is pretty eclectic, but generally falls into the Christian and Jazz genres.

Nam Joti Kaur Khalsa, who learned this traditional American broom making technique from her teacher, Karen Hobbs. Karen Hobbs was a long time student of John Campbell Folk School who instilled her love of basket weaving and broom making in dozens of students across the country.

Michelle Boyd is a Master Spinner, weaver, and writer who lives in Olds, Alberta, which is located in the Treaty Seven region of Canada. She has been teaching spinning for twenty years, including twelve years as an instructor for the Olds College Master Spinner Program.

A crafter since childhood, Jennifer Costa discovered needle felting in 2020. She was hooked after the first few stabs! She enjoys landscape and three-dimensional felting. She sells her artwork through her website and at a gallery in the NC mountains, but is especially passionate about teaching others how much fun felting can be!

IBé Bulinda Crawley, the 2024 Virginia Historic Preservation Awardee, demonstrates the power of storytelling in the artist’s book titled 11033, produced at Women’s Studio Workshop 2022.
