Holding two Master's degrees in Music and English, I've had the privilege of teaching students of all ages and skill levels across Europe, the United States, and online. With over 15 years of international teaching experience, I specialize in piano, singing, English, and German instruction.

Originally from the Chicago area, I also spent 13 yrs in the state of Colorado to pursue a different field of masonry. During this time, I began to use my talent as a drummer, and started to teach/tutor on the side for about 10 yrs before moving here to the country of Ecuador. Upon my arrival i started my career as an online English teacher, which I am really passionate about.

Merlyn Kelly is a professional bassist from Los Angeles, now based in Tokyo, with extensive international touring and recording experience. Skilled in electric, upright, and synth bass, he has performed in over 30 countries across genres including pop, rock, hip-hop, jazz, and more.

I received my certification to teach English as a Second Language from International TEFL Academy in 2025, and my Master's degree from the University of Utah in 1997. I was Senior Managing Editor at Zenith News for 12 years, where I won two first-place awards for my writing. I am currently teaching English to Ukrainian students through ENGin.
