I have been a music educator for over 20 years in both private lessons and in classroom settings. I am currently teaching at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts where I teach Jazz Vocals, Composition, Music Pedagogy, Singer-Songwriter, Music Business, and Music Theory.

I am a licensed music educator with a Bachelor’s degree in Artistic Education, specializing in Music, from the Escuela Nacional Superior de Folklore “José María Arguedas” (now Universidad Nacional de Folklore) in Lima, Peru, where I ranked first in my program for four consecutive years. I also hold a Master’s degree in Higher Education from Universidad Continental (2019–2021).
