Hey there! My name is Mike (MikeRat, Skavi) and I've been producing music since 2007. I've been a musician my entire life (piano, drums), but when I discovered electronic music production I knew I had found my niche. Since then I've gotten to play some legendary venues like The Black Box, First Avenue, The Armory, as well as being a resident performer of Infrasound Music Festival.

I’m Xale Slusser, a Los Angeles–based bassoonist and oboist with degrees in performance, composition, and ethnomusicology from Ohio Northern University, the California Institute of the Arts, and UCLA. I teach Bassoon and Oboe (all levels) as well as Saxophones (SATB) and Clarinets (Sopranino–Contra Alto).

I teach piano, guitar, bass, songwriting, and music production for kids, adults, beginners, and returning musicians. I earned a BA in Open Music Studies from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in May 2020, and I bring 23 years of piano experience, 14 years of guitar experience, and 10 years of songwriting, recording, and production work into my lessons.

Hi all! I'm a music producer, with a project management and international relations background as well. I've worked with children, TA'd Engineering at Brown U., and teach students of all ages in music production, theory, and performance. I have a Master's in Production from Berklee College of Music, and 20+ years industry experience, based in NYC and New England.

After graduating from Berklee in 1987 with a degree in Music Production & Engineering, I moved to NYC to help start the Sam Ash Music Institute. A year later, I moved to LA and began a 30+year career as a film and tv music composer, editor (Motion Picture Editors Guild), and audio engineer. I am a singer, songwriter, producer, and pianist. I gained teaching experience as assistant choir director and piano instructor at Music in the Village at Elon University. I worked as an assistant for Vocal Coach Nick Cooper at the Vocal Corner Store, an artist development center that has fostered artists including Beyonce, Katy Perry, and Nicki Minaj.

I have 15 years of experience in playing guitar and producing, and currently I'm giving guitar and producing/composing lessons for a little over three years. I specialize in a very modern style of guitar playing, heavily inspired by bands like Polyphia, Unprocessed, Intervals etc.
