Education and Background Ashley Serrano is a passionate guitarist and music educator based in the vibrant Silicon Valley Area. Born in Modesto, California, she taught herself electric guitar at age 14, drawing inspiration from legendary guitarists including Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, Prince, Steve Vai, and John Petrucci.

A dedicated teacher, Ms. Niu has nearly 10 years of teaching experience, including preparation for CM and ABRSM exams. She is also an active concert organist and church musician, served as Music Director of Gethsemane Lutheran Church, La Crescenta. Ms.

I am an operatically trained tenor who has been teaching privately for over 24 years now. I've spent time performing in the classical arena as well as musical theatre and cabaret. I've also spent over 10 years as a choir director and vocal coach students for performances and auditions. I love teaching and find that it gives me such energy when I can share my knowledge with others.
