My gigging experience includes playing for cruise ships, wedding bands, national touring acts, and musical theaters.

As one of the lead instructors at SAE NY for over 6 years, and with over 10,000 hours of classroom time, I have helped hundreds of students to perform professional level work and understand the changing needs of a technology-based industry.

Mark V Sheldon has been “Specializing In Melody” since the age of five when he discovered his natural ability to play and create catchy tunes by teaching himself the harmonica by ear. He went on to learn the accordion at ten, the piano at 12, MIDI and synthesizers at 15, the guitar at 30, and a long list of other exotic instruments along the way, completely by ear.

Shereen Cheong is a New York-based Malaysian pianist, composer, arranger and producer who developed a sense of music from a tender age of three. Pursuant to her classical training, she studied jazz piano with Malaysia’s jazz veteran, Michael Veerapen. At the age of 16, she was on the Sparks of Broadway Tour as a pianist with Farah Sulaiman & Friends in Malaysia.

It's hard to put into words how much music means to me. I am sure I am not the only one that feels this way. I fell in love with the drums at a very young age and truly never looked back. To this day, there is nothing quite like sitting behind a kit and creating music.

I am a multi-instrumentalist, composer and educator with a Bachelor Degree in Music Education from Berklee College of Music. I teach all levels guitar, bass, saxophone; beginner piano; music composition; digital music production. As a Berklee College of Music graduate, I’ve worked in iconic studios like Gustavo Cerati’s in Argentina and The Record Company in the U.S., collaborating with artists like Erika Ender and Chucho Valdés in Washington, D.C. I’ve performed at renowned venues in Buenos Aires, Argentina, such as Niceto, Teatro Colón, and Konex, as well as in the U.S and touring Europe.

A resident of Upstate New York, Menegon started his career as a jazz bassist in Montreal. After having worked for several years on the Canadian jazz scene with the great guitarists Sonny Greenwich, Mike Gauthier & Nelson Simons, and saxophonists Steve Grossman & Pat LaBarbara, he then went on to hone his skills in NYC in the mid-80s.
