Hello there! My name is Alexander Cha, and I am currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the Manhattan School of Music in Clarinet Performance. I am also a graduate from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University with a Bachelor’s degree in Clarinet performance.

I am a clarinettist and bass clarinet specialist with 10 years of teaching experience. As a performer I have a versatile background, having performed traditional orchestral, opera and chamber music as well as contemporary music, musical theatre, film recording and pop music shows.

Dr. Lauren Kinane (she/her) is a Long Island based clarinetist and educator. As a clarinetist she has performed with the Atlantic Wind Symphony, Sound Symphony Orchestra, the Stony Brook Contemporary Chamber Players, Pioneer Valley Symphony, the MezzoBlasto clarinet quartet, the UMass Amherst Faculty Winds, and the UMass Amherst Graduate Woodwind Quintet.

As a multi-instrumentalist, I bring a broad musical perspective to my teaching. My goal is to help students not only learn how to play their instrument, but also develop a deeper understanding of the music they are passionate about.

Hello! Thank you for considering joining Carmen's Clarinets! Carmen is an avid clarinetist, based in Northeast Ohio, who has studied and performed for over 15 years. She has had the pleasure of leading a small studio for over a year, and it is now time for her to grow her student base. Nicole DeMaio is a composer, performer, and educator who was born in Bogota, Colombia and is currently living in the NYC area. As a woodwind doubler, Nicole performs on flutes, clarinets, saxophones, and bassoon. She has recently worked as a substitute musician on Broadway’s “"Some Like It Hot", "Aladdin”, “1776”, “Kimberly Akimbo”, “A Strange Loop”, and “Beetlejuice”.

Dr. Christopher Bush has a multifaceted career as a performer, educator, and arts administrator.
