Learn from Great Bass Guitar Teachers

Ian began playing guitar around the age of ten when he got his first hand-me-down guitar from his older brother. At first he learned to play primarily by ear, learning songs from recordings that he loved, a skill that has proven invaluable to this day.

I’ve been playing the guitar for twenty-eight years now, and studied with a variety of teachers including Bob Ferguson (a classical guitarist) and Michael Harris (a platinum selling metal guitarist). I began teaching guitar lessons when I was a sophomore at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

Benjamin is a musician in New York City. He has been studying music since the age of 3. His background includes Violin, Cello, Percussion, Drum Set, Voice, Electric Bass, and Upright Bass. He is a graduate of Berklee College of Music where he majored in Upright Bass Performance. He has studied with Dave Zinno, John Lockwood, Hal Crook, Bruce Gertz, and Susan Hagen.

Ever since I was a child I wanted to play guitar. I'd wake up to sound of my father playing and singing songs, until one day when I was 6, I ask my dad to teach me. 20 years later I'm still playing. I've done a lot over the years, played in many band, done session work and learned more instruments.

Originally from Fort Lauderdale Florida, Zico Chevy Hernandez hails from a long line of artists and musicians. His Father, a percussionist from Cuba, used to play percussive beats on his mother’s womb, inciting Zico to tap back. Throughout Zico’s life, Zico has studied a collection of musical instruments and genres, with a primary focus on percussion and guitar.

Ken Goltsberg is a dynamic and versatile jazz musician based in New York City. A graduate of Berklee College of Music with a degree in Jazz Composition, he is a masterful guitarist who also excels on the bass and piano. His compositional prowess spans a broad spectrum of genres, from big band and small band jazz to metal, hip-hop, classical, and electronic music.

I play guitar, upright & electric bass, and piano. I've played in multiple bands throughout my life. I moved to Seattle with my band from Ann Arbor in 2016. We played Indie Psych Rock and were influenced by bands like Talking Heads, The Strokes, and David Bowie. We had the privilege of recording a single with Steve Albini(Nirvana) and an EP with Gordon Raphael(The Strokes).

Graduate of Shenandoah University/Conservatory. Bachelors of Music in Audio Production with a minor in Jazz guitar Currently working on a Masters of Audio Production I make tracks daily and play multiple instruments like guitar bass drums keys and sing some, but I am definitely more a musician and I live to create music I can help develop music with you from scratch or enhance…

My name is Aidan Doyle. I primarily play jazz and classical trombone but I also play piano, drums and bass. I studied at the Manhattan School of Music before dropping out to perform and teach full time. i am currently based in Albany, New York, and I look forward to working with whoever is interested in exploring the world of music!

I’ve worked with artists like Kendrick Lamar, Daniel Caesar, 42 Dugg, Orion Sun and Robert Glasper, and composed music for Apple TV+, Hulu, and Riot Games. I tour internationally, with performances at Coachella, Lollapalooza, NPR’s Tiny Desk, and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
