Hi! My name is Jolynn and I am a professional piano instructor of 8 years, and I have been performing in various countries for 10 years. Being classically trained in piano education for 20 years, I have completed all ABRSM Graded Piano Examinations, up till Grade 8, passing with a Distinction. I have also obtained a Diploma in Piano Performance from Trinity College London.

I first wanted to play the cello when I was 7 years old, after listening to Saint-Saëns' 'The Swan' being performed at a local concert. Shortly after, I began to have cello lessons, and absolutely loved it! I have been lucky to study with fantastic teachers during my education, most recently with David Cohen (principal cellist of the London Symphony Orchestra).

For languages, I am CEDILS certified for Italian and TESOL certified for English. For music, my strongest instrument is the piano (Royal Conservatory of Music grade 10), then flute (Royal Conservatory of Music grade 8 regional silver medal winner) and then voice.

I'm a Portuguese pianist and I've played the piano since I was 9 years old. I've done my bachelors degree in Porto (ESMAE) and my masters degree in Germany (Hochschule für Musik Detmold). I've won some competitions throughout my career.

I am a passionate piano teacher with a Master’s degree and a Bachelor of Arts in Piano Teaching, complemented by studies in child development and neuroscience. I incorporate this knowledge into my teaching approach to help students learn in a natural, effective, and enjoyable way.

She has experience teaching students aged 4-75, and can accomodate a variety of different learning styles. She holds a Bachelors of Arts with Honors in Music from Macalester College.
