Teaching experience encompasses lecturing double bass at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, working with younger people at Sistema Scotland and private tutions of all ages.

I started playing violin at the age of eight and fell in love with music. I played in the Vermont Youth Orchestra. in high school and made some of my best friends that I still perform with! I decided to pursue music performance at the University of Vermont.

Prior to winning a Scholarship to study at the prestigious Grove School of Music in Los Angeles California, I worked extensively in the UK with well-known artists and shows. But my desire was always to learn from the best. I got my opportunity in 1991 when I won my scholarship.

Geno, life-long musician from Austin, Texas, grew up in the renowned 78704 zip code surrounded by some of Austin's most iconic musical legends like Rocky Erickson, Marcia Ball, and Jimmie and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Geno started playing piano and taking voice lessons at age seven and later attended Austin High School, playing tuba in band and orchestra.

I am an award-winning jazz bassist, composer, bandleader, and music educator based in New York City. I began studying violin at age six and transitioned to the upright bass at fifteen. I received extensive formal training in both classical and jazz performance and was awarded multiple Keren Sharett excellence scholarships throughout my studies.

I have been playing upright and electric bass professionally for the past decade. I've been teaching private lessons for the past 3 years. I spent 9 years performing and touring with the 44th Army Band. I’ve gigged throughout the San Francisco Bay Area, playing with groups such as the Erik Jekabson Tentet, Salsabrosos, and the Julian Otero Trio.
