Hello! Thank you so much for visiting my profile! I was born and raised in Kentucky and fell in love with the trombone and music my freshman year of high school! I ended up deciding there was nothing that I was more passionate about and therefore elected to dedicate my life to music! I’m a versatile musician and educator with a strong foundation in performance, teaching, and commercial music. I hold a Master of Music in Commercial Music (Guitar Emphasis) from Belmont University and a Bachelor of Music in Music Education & Jazz Studies from SUNY Fredonia, where my primary emphasis instrument was trombone.

With over 15 years of experience as a dedicated music educator and director, I have cultivated a diverse career teaching K-12 music, conducting university bands, and providing private instruction in piano and wind instruments. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (Music) from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.

I'm a professional trombonist based in the USA. I perform mostly with orchestras in the Northeast (Columbus, Cincinnati, Buffalo, Rochester) but I also work frequently with orchestras abroad. I studied music at Duquesne University (BA) and at the Royal Academy of Music in London (PGdip).

Seth Almond is a versatile trombonist who has experience in many musical ensembles. These include orchestral, concert band, brass quintet, jazz band, jazz combo, brass band, and Marine Corps Band settings. He also has a studio where he teaches trombone, euphonium, and tuba players. Seth is originally from Memphis, TN, but he grew up is the small college town of Auburn, AL.

Matt is a globally touring tubist, Army Musician, pianist, arranger, and composer, tuba instructor at 7-time world champions The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps, and is a leading proponent for the marriage of brass and electronics residing in Nashville, Tenn.
