Originally from Fort Lauderdale Florida, Zico Chevy Hernandez hails from a long line of artists and musicians. His Father, a percussionist from Cuba, used to play percussive beats on his mother’s womb, inciting Zico to tap back. Throughout Zico’s life, Zico has studied a collection of musical instruments and genres, with a primary focus on percussion and guitar.

I’m a singer, guitarist, and songwriter with over 20 years of professional performance experience, and I specialize in helping students become well-rounded musicians who can confidently play, sing, and express themselves through music.

I have been teaching private music lessons since January 2021, working with students of all ages and skill levels. I started teaching at Wayne State College in January of 2021. In August of 2024, I opened my own studio, "Lexie's Lessons." I specialize in voice, helping students build strong technique, confidence, and stage presence in a supportive and encouraging environment.

I am an experienced educator and music director with over a decade of teaching and leadership experience in both academic and performance settings. I have taught Music, English, and Values Education at the middle and high school levels and have extensive experience training children, teens, and college students in choir and instrumental performance.

Mitch Hood is a guitarist, songwriter, and producer whose career spans punk clubs to national tours. He broke out in the late ’90s with East Coast indie punk band Grandview, opening for The Click Five, The Ataris, MxPx, and Ghoti Hook.

I worked for over 30 years as an advocate for kids who cannot advocate for themselves and their families. My niche is in working with kids who have a super power such as ADHD, autism, Dyslexia, etc. I also have extensive experience working with kids who do not have such diagnoses. 2025 marked my 20th year teaching guitar.

I am a Berklee College of Music graduate (Bachelor of Professional Studies – Interdisciplinary Music Studies, Summa Cum Laude) with over 20 years of professional experience as a performer and more than 10 years of teaching experience in schools and private education.

Hi! I’m Natalia Gonçalves, a Brazilian guitarist, music teacher, and sheet music editor. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) and a Technical Degree in Classical Guitar, with a strong focus on performance, arrangement, and pedagogy.

"I'm a rhythm and lead guitarist & songwriter for multiple projects with worldwide social recognition. I graduated from San Jose State with a Bachelor's of Music in jazz guitar, and am currently teaching around 40 lessons a week to students ranging in ability from beginner to professional.
