I’m a singer, guitarist, and songwriter with over 20 years of professional performance experience, and I specialize in helping students become well-rounded musicians who can confidently play, sing, and express themselves through music.

I am an experienced educator and music director with over a decade of teaching and leadership experience in both academic and performance settings. I have taught Music, English, and Values Education at the middle and high school levels and have extensive experience training children, teens, and college students in choir and instrumental performance.

I've been playing guitar for over 15 years, and I still love it as much as the day I picked it up. I hold a music degree, but what I bring to lessons isn't just theory — it's a genuine passion for helping people find their sound, at their own pace, without the pressure. I teach kids, teens, and adults. Total beginners are absolutely welcome.

About Me & My Teaching Approach Professional Background With over 30 years of professional performance and 25 years of teaching experience, my musical journey has spanned across Mexico, Canada, and Brazil. I am a multi-instrumentalist (Bass, Guitar, Piano, and Drums) and a composer currently preparing for an international performance contract with Disney.

I’m a Mumbai-based guitarist, performer, and instructor with a strong foundation in blues and rock guitar. Over the years, I’ve worked with students across a wide range of levels—from complete beginners picking up the instrument for the first time to intermediate players looking to refine their sound and musical identity.

Mitch Hood is a guitarist, songwriter, and producer whose career spans punk clubs to national tours. He broke out in the late ’90s with East Coast indie punk band Grandview, opening for The Click Five, The Ataris, MxPx, and Ghoti Hook.

I am a Berklee College of Music graduate (Bachelor of Professional Studies – Interdisciplinary Music Studies, Summa Cum Laude) with over 20 years of professional experience as a performer and more than 10 years of teaching experience in schools and private education.

Bio: Jay Harootunian is a nationally touring artist with the Americana roots band Mojo Birds. His teaching background includes Adjunct Professor of Guitar at San Juan College, band coaching, artist development, and Songwriting Studio Online. He is also the founder of the Durango Sound Project and serves as the Vermont State Coordinator for Music Link.

Ashley began teaching private lessons in-home, "house call" style, upon graduating college from Pace University (NYC) in 2008. Since then, she has built up a plethora of students, mostly via word-of-mouth, and purchased her own studio space in 2015, followed by another move and expansion to her current space today!
