Today, my strengths as an instructor lie in my ability to bridge the gap between rigorous classical discipline and the dynamic adaptability required in modern commercial music.

I approach music with a holistic mindset: with work ethic and discipline, yet also empathy and passion from the student's perspective. I see music as a tool to enhance the expression that already exists within the individual, while pinpointing necessary skills that still need to be developed.

I believe that every individual learns music skills differently. As a teacher I seek to design lessons that provide each student with the opportunities to grow in a creative and enjoyable way. Providing a customized schedule for each student is essential for engaging and encouraging musical growth.

Hi! I'm Andy, and I've been a professional instructor, performer, and songwriter for over 10 years. As an artist, I have toured my original music in the southeast US as a solo musician and bandleader, and recently had my music added to Spotify's 'Best Blues Songs of 2022' editorial playlist.

I fell in love with music at a young age and have pursued it for most of my life. After starting piano at 8 and performing Acoustic Guitar at Irish Pubs by 14, I earned a Bachelor of Music: Commercial Music with a focus on Classical Voice and Classical Piano from Florida Atlantic University.

My goal is to inspire creativity, and a love for playing. I began playing the guitar at age 13. Classic rock bands such as Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and the Beatles, as well as blues guitarists Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Clapton, are my early musical influences.
