Learn from Great Harmonica Teachers

Daniel Marson, PhD (that is, me!) is a practicing clinical neuropsychologist and retired professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). I have been at UAB for over 30 years. I first heard blues harmonica as a 17 year old teenager in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and have been chasing that sound ever since.

Mark V Sheldon has been “Specializing In Melody” since the age of five when he discovered his natural ability to play and create catchy tunes by teaching himself the harmonica by ear. He went on to learn the accordion at ten, the piano at 12, MIDI and synthesizers at 15, the guitar at 30, and a long list of other exotic instruments along the way, completely by ear.

My goal is to cultivate excitement in my students and keep learning fun and interesting. We will focus on what it is that gravitates you to the guitar, and break down what you will need to learn to gain the freedom you are looking for. My aim is that you will always continue to pick up the guitar on your own out of the joy of playing, instead of feeling like you have to.

I'm from Sri Lanka and im a professional Guitar teacher and vocal Trainor in Sri Lanka's well known academy called 'The Musiculture' I have experience over 14 years of teaching guitar. Also, i can play guitar for the left and right side as a special talent and its very good advantage for my teaching.

My Background I've been playing with classical ensembles and rock bands since 2001. Even though I started on classical trombone and rock guitar, I have come to expand my repertoire to a variety of instruments and genres. During my time in college I performed with the University choir, orchestra, and band.

Hi, my name is Yotam Ben-Or and I'm a harmonica player and composer. I moved to NYC after receiving a full scholarship to study at The New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music and graduated in May 2016. I perform and record in NYC and internationally as a band-leader as well as a sideman.

Steven is a musician and writer. He has been playing and performing as a guitarist for more than 20 years. He has been teaching guitar, ukulele, harmonica, and writing for nine years.
