He has found himself performing on tenor and bass trombone with many creative ensembles in the New York City area, including the Frank Zappa-esque Ed Palermo Big Band, Park Avenue Chamber Symphony, Steven Maglio tribute to Frank Sinatra, and Good Shepherd Collective.

Julian Blumenthaler redefines the sound of the violin. Trained in classical music from the age of five by Irina Goldstein, he quickly became captivated by improvisational music, driven by a desire to fuse the sound of the violin with jazz, hip-hop, and soul.

I am a Berlin based pianist and composer, who loves teaching music. I studied jazz in Cologne and started my teaching career on the side. I was always an active musician on the scene, but also developed an enthusiasm for sharing my knowledge. After finishing my studies, that flame kept lit and never went out.
