I’m a classically trained singer, pianist and composer, and I’ve been teaching music for more than 20 years. I fell in love with music as a child, and it has been a central part of my life ever since — first as a student, and later as a performer, composer and teacher.

I am a principal lecturer and head of the bass department at Leeds Conservatoire in the UK. I teach Double, Electric bass, music theory, rhythm and other subjects closely related to music education. I have studied with Charlie Haden on Double Bass and Jeff Berlin on electric bass at California Institute of the Arts in LA where i graduated with a Masters degree.

Hello! With over 28 years in the music industry, I am an experienced Trumpet, Vocal, Piano and Music Theory (Composition, Orchestration & Arrangement) teacher and graduated with distinction for a Masters degree in music. B.Mus.. MMus.(UCT).

I am a professional pianist, composer and teacher with nearly 20 years of teaching experience, working with students from complete beginners to advanced musicians and professional teachers. I was trained in classical piano at the Conservatoire de Musique de Genève before continuing my musical development in Paris, where I studied contemporary music, jazz and improvisation.

Lisa Mezzacappa is a San Francisco Bay Area-based composer, bassist, bandleader, and producer. Called “one of the most imaginative figures on the Bay Area creative jazz scene” by The Mercury News and “a Bay Area treasure” by KQED public radio, she has been an active part of California’s vibrant music community for nearly 20 years.

Trumpeter/composer/bandleader based in New Orleans. Leads band on the Steamboat Natchez and others around the city. Solo album-Making Space. Passionate about helping students safely improve and developing a healthy relationship with themselves and music.

Kal Ferretti is a 21 year old jazz trumpet player based in New York City and is in her fourth year studying jazz trumpet performance at The New School for Jazz on a full scholarship. At school, Kal studies privately under Tatum Greenblatt and Alex Norris.
