Hi, I'm Krishna - a violinist/composer (and data scientist) from South Africa! I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science as well as a Minor in Music from Temple University, Philadelphia, USA (graduated: December 2022). At Temple University, I was a Dean's Scholarship recipient and a member of the university's Honors Program.

As a multi-instrumentalist, educator, and composer, I bring over a decade of performance experience and more than four years of dedicated teaching to my students. I began my musical journey at the age of three and picked up the saxophone at ten.

Hello! I have been teaching private lessons since the fall of 2006, and it's a true joy for me. I am a a multi-faceted bassist, active in a mixture of genres and ensembles. I have experience playing in orchestras, jazz ensembles, rock, funk, and blues bands, and am active as a composer and conductor as well.

I'm a Portuguese composer with a dual background in concert music and film & television scoring. I hold a BMus in Composition from Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa (ESML) and an MMus in Composition for Film and TV (Merit) from the University of West London — a combination that gives me a wide-angle view of what composition can be, from the concert hall to the screen.
