Learn from Great Music Theory Teachers

Hey, I’m Leander :) I have been teaching music for the past nine years, both privately and at Musikplus! music school in Berlin. I began teaching after completing the Preparatory Study in Jazz at the Paul Hindemith Music School in 2017. Over the years I have taught both individual students and group classes.

Catherine Bent has brought her cello artistry to Cirque du Soleil, Enya, Joe Jackson, A.R. Rahman, Greg Osby, Lee Konitz, Patty Larkin, Donna Summer, Rod Stewart, Kanye West, Lil Buck, Merce Cunningham Dance, as well as classical orchestras, commercials, and Broadway shows. Catherine is an Associate Professor at Berklee College of Music. She holds a B.A.

Kyle Pearl is a professional cellist and composer who has actively taught cello lessons for the past eight years professionally, and studied cello performance and music theory and the Frost School of Music. He greatly enjoys teaching, and generally work best with late middle and high school students. He is extremely experienced in audition, competition, and performance preparation.

A dynamic performer versed in a variety of repertoires, Alexander Bonus has led groups ranging from symphony orchestras to brass ensembles to madrigal consorts—at both the collegiate and professional levels. Alisyn Christensen, conductor and oboist, holds a B.A. in Music from Luther College (Decorah, IA) and an M.M. in Orchestral Conducting from Central Washington University. While attending Luther, Alisyn participated in of the college's several top ensembles. After graduating, she taught general elementary music in the Kent School District for three years.

As a recent graduate from Berklee College of Music, Francis has quickly ventured to Vancouver to continue career as a musician. He started performing professionally in the Philippines in 2012, co-founding bands like The 2 Day Rush and performing with other musicians as well.

With proud accomplishment, I can report on my Master's degree in classical guitar from the renowned University of Music and Performing Arts Munich, as well as my Master's degree in composition in Italy. Currently, I am pursuing a music theory program at the Mozarteum in Salzburg and also teaching at the music school.

Kaitlyn Ronstadt is a freelance pianist and private teacher located in the Pacific Northwest. Kaitlyn completed both her Master's in Music in Piano Performance and Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at Western Washington University.
