I am a National Professor of Music with Piano Specialty and a Bachelor of Musical Arts with Piano Orientation (National University of the Arts - UNA - Department of Musical and Sound Arts "Carlos Lopez Buchardo"). I've studied and played the violin for several years and I have advanced studies in Composition.

My teaching is a joy and a passion. I am continually inspired by the success of my students. I graduated with an A.A. degree in Music Education from Miami Dade College and got my Diploma in Social Music from The National Guild of Piano. In my career I have had the opportunity to perform in a variety of settings, both as a soloist and in ensembles.

I have over 10 years of piano teaching experience, working with children, teens, and adults at all skill levels. From 2018 to 2024, I taught at several music academies throughout the San Jose and Sunnyvale area, including Amade Music School, Sanatrisam Music & Dance Academy, Guitar Center, Guitar Showcase, and The California Conservatory of Music.

Hi! I am a dedicated pianist and composer with passion for teaching. I love breaking down musical concepts and helping you understand how things work, as well as following the growth of the students. With pleasure I have taught kids of four years old, beginner seniors above the ages 65, Chopin etudes to advanced students and everything in between.

Kristin Trotta is a Boston native who moved to New York City 20 years ago to study and make music her career. She is a multi-faceted musician and dynamic performer with 16 years of experience in professional performances, marketing and social media to name a few. She is passionate, engaging and has enough energy to fill the room.
