Hello! My name is Narek Kelian, and I am a professional violinist and teacher with over five years of experience working with students of all ages and levels. I specialize in helping each student find their most resonant and beautiful sound, because I believe that tone is the heart of music. From there, we build technique step by step, making lessons both effective and inspiring.

I am a harpist and a scientist. At Brigham Young University, I minored in music, emphasizing in harp, while earning a geology degree. Formal training in harp at BYU gave me footing in the basics of harp, complimenting my analytical bent on music. I love combining these foundations and analytical sense with my love of harp and music.

Hi, I’m an experienced and qualified violin teacher. I am friendly and patient and provide a nurturing environment for my pupils. With 10+ years teaching experience, I am passionate about developing students’ violin and musical skills as well as helping them to develop their courage and confidence.

I am a graduate student of Violin Performance at Sacramento State University and have been teaching in the Sacramento area for a year. I enjoy serving as concertmaster for the University's Symphony Orchestra and participating in chamber music. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Violin Performance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

After graduating from Berklee in 1987 with a degree in Music Production & Engineering, I moved to NYC to help start the Sam Ash Music Institute. A year later, I moved to LA and began a 30+year career as a film and tv music composer, editor (Motion Picture Editors Guild), and audio engineer. Adam grew up listening to his dad practice trombone at home, and started playing clarinet in the fourth grade. In middle school, he started learning guitar and writing his own songs. In high school, Adam produced an album for his solo project and distributed his CDs. Adam studied Composition and Arranging at Azusa Pacific University, where he was a Music Theory TA and tutor.
