Piano has been my passion since starting private instruction at the age of 8. I have spent over 20 years sharing that passion with students of all ages and skill levels. Every student is a challenge for me. If it's a good student who has the desire and time to practice along with talent, it challenges me to switch on all the power of his nature and make him shine the shortest way possible. If a student doesn't have time to practice I always work on new exercises that could make a difference right away during a lesson.

Ruthanne is a dedicated musician and educator who is passionate about guiding students through their unique musical journeys. She has studied and practiced the viola under master musicians at San Jacinto College and the University of Texas at Brownsville, where she served as principal violist at both institutions throughout her academic career while earning her degrees.
