I've been playing the electric bass and upright bass for over 10 years. I first began my journey in high school, when I first picked up the electric bass in strings class. I soon fell in love with playing many different styles of music including rock, blues, jazz, and classical.

Alison has taught over 20,000 lessons in various instruments and voice to over 550 students in private lessons and small groups, in person and online. Her students range from age 3 through adults. Volkan Orhon is a professor of double bass at the University of Iowa. Native of Turkey, he was a prizewinner in the Concert Artists Guild, the co­-first prize at the International Society of Bassists Competitions, and was the first bassist ever to win the grand prize at the American String Teacher’s Association Solo Competition.

I am portuguese double bass player currently working with Brussels Philharmonic, in Belgium (Central European Time Zone - CET) and teaching at The International School of Brussels. I have a Bachelor in Music, a Master in Music Teaching (ESML, Lisbon), a Master in Musik (HfMT, Hamburg) and I was an Orchestra Akademist in the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester (2015-2017).

Bass player with more than 10 years of experience as a performer. I always like to share with my students everything I've learned in my life as a musician, and like to approach every lesson in the best possible way. Lessonface teacher since April 2020.

Italian born upright bass, Giuseppe Cucchiara has earned his bachelor degree in Music Performance studying at Berklee College of Music. During his time at Berklee he studied with great musicians and mentors such as Hal Crook, Dave Santoro, Neal Smith, Danilo Perez,George Garzone, John Lockwood and was part of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute led by Danilo Perez.

Matt Booth is a bassist, composer, and educator based in New Orleans. Over the last decade, he has worked continuously in a wide range of groups and in various musical styles, both in the city and around the country. Presently, he is a co-leader of the piano trio Extended, leads his own group Palindromes, as well as the guitar trio Some Antics.
