Jiawei began his violin studies with renowned violinist Chai Liang at the age of 10. During the eight year of studying with Chai Liang, he has entered and won violin competitions in China. Jiawei is alumni of the Central Conservatory Preparatory School in Beijing.

Greetings! My name is Ellen Kidwell. I have about 11 years of teaching both private lessons and currently hold a position as an Orchestra Director in Dallas Texas. I perform regularly on both violin and viola. I have won the Texas Music Educator's Association Collegiate Educator Award, and most recently the Texas Orchestra Directors Association Young Educator of the year.

I studied viola performance at the University of Northern Colorado and currently sit as the Principal violist of the Jefferson Symphony Orchestra. As an avid member of the local Viola community, I perform and teach both professionally and personally on a regular basis. I have played classical music since three years old. I have taken over 500 lessons myself. I started on violin but switched to viola in high school. I now have many years experience with both. I have found that many violinists tend to stick to classical or fiddle. I am very different. I have experience with many different types of music.
