Hello! I’m Joy. I’m a violist and violinist from Taiwan. I started learning viola at seven years old and violin at nine. Since I started playing, I immediately fell in love with the warm and human-like tone of both instruments. I graduated from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music with a Bachelor of Music in Viola Performance and minor in Music Education.

I help students who need help due to the struggles they go through with their instruments. I love teaching private lessons because I believe in spreading the word to make the great gift of playing music available to many. I started teaching with the company Take Lessons in August 2011. I've enjoyed every day of it. I have 97 reviews in my profile.
