Daphne Manavopoulos is a violinist and teacher specializing in historical and modern violin. Born in Montreal to a Greek father and Canadian mother, she took her first violin lessons with Theodora Stathopoulos and at the McGill Conservatory of Music with Jean Grimard at age three.

Welcome to my page! My name is Claire and I am so excited to meet you. I have completed my Bachelor of Arts in Music Therapy with a focus on my primary, violin, and am currently completing my internship in music therapy as a final portion of my education. Music has always been a part of my life, and I love having the opportunity to share music with others through teaching.

Scott Slapin (b. 1974) grew up in a family of string players in New Jersey and studied violin/viola with Barbara Barstow and Emanuel Vardi and composition with Richard Lane. At eighteen he was one of the youngest graduates of the Manhattan School of Music in New York City.

Yulia Price lives in the Boston area and teaches violin and viola. Yulia began her violin studies at the age of four with Suzuki violin teacher Kathy Allison. She graduated with her Bachelor’s of Music in Violin Performance at East Carolina University under the tutelage of Ara Gregorian and Hye-Jin Kim; and completed her Suzuki Pedagogy Certification with Joanne Bath.

Jennifer began learning the fiddle when she was 7 years old and had the incredible opportunity of learning from musical friends of her parents including; Michael Gorman, Fiddler Bob Beers and Alistair Bain. She played with the Berea College Country Dancers when she was in college and played for dances at the Folk School when she lived there in 1980-81.

I'm a member of Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, an associate member of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, and a former member of the Arditti, Penderecki, and Chester String Quartets. I have 27 years of teaching experience, at Harvard, Princeton, NYU, Wilfrid Laurier University and many summer festivals.

My name is Lara, I’m 25 years old and originally from Melbourne, Australia, though I’m currently based in New York City. I have eight years of experience teaching violin and viola to students ranging from pre-schoolers to high schoolers, both in person and online. My mission as a teacher is to nurture confidence and creativity in every student—both musically and personally.

Jonathan Kuehn originates from the Puget Sound region near Seattle WA. As an avid chamber musician, he was a founding member of the UW Baroque Ensemble and the SOL Chamber Orchestra. Alongside his collaborations on violin, Jonathan also plays viola and has received coaching from Brooklyn Rider, and from the St. Lawrence and Brentano string quartets.
