Greetings musical friends! I have been enjoying playing the violin since I was 7 years old. I grew up playing in the Oceanside School District Orchestras as well as in the Civic Youth Orchestra at Palomar College while I was in high school. I have learned several instruments over the years. However, Violin is my favorite. I call it my heart instrument.

Hello! I am a freelance composer and teacher based in the Twin Cities. I started teaching violin over 14 years ago and since then, have expanded my studio to incorporate theory, composition, and beginning piano. I have a MFA in Theory and Composition from the University of New Mexico and a BA of Music from Bryn Mawr College.

I am a dedicated violin/bowed strings teacher with experience working with students of all ages and levels. My approach centers on building a strong technical foundation through proper posture, bowing, intonation, and tone production. I create personalized lesson plans tailored to each student's needs, focusing on clear, step-by-step progress.

I teach all musical styles-from classical to pop, fiddle, latin, jazz/blues... I have a doctorate and two master's degrees in violin performance. I received my two master's degrees at the Georgia State University (2004) and the Belgrade University of Arts (Serbia-2001).
