Carol James is a self-taught textile artist who has been exploring low-tech textile methods for 30 years. Focusing on sprang, she has examined items in collections across the US and Europe, and is known for her ability to replicate these historic textiles. She has also created modern garments deemed worthy of the Handweavers Guild of America fashion show.

Alesia started her fiber odyssey over two decades ago with a couple of sheep and a passion to learn more. The sheep patiently taught her much about life, farming and fiber! She now lives on a small farm in Youngsville, NC with her husband and son and together they shepherd a very eclectic flock of award-winning sheep.

Youngmin Lee is a textile artist who uses bojagi tradition and techniques to create her work. Her interest in textiles led her to study Clothing and Textile in college and received an MFA in Fashion Design in South Korea. She has researched bojagi making and techniques and endeavors to apply her findings to both traditional and contemporary art.

Patricia Sanville lives on a small farm in Frederick, MD., where she has been for 15 years, raising a family and raising sheep as well as various other species of livestock and crops. Patricia is on the Maryland Sheep Breeders Association Board of Directors and also serves as the Director from Maryland to the American Sheep Industry.

Cecelia Campochiaro appeared on the knitting scene in 2015 with her debut book, Sequence Knitting. Knitting was a casual pastime until she had an ah-ha moment in 2010 and realized that interesting textured fabrics could be created by the simple repetition of a sequence of stitches. Sequence Knitting is about texture, and her second book, Making Marls, is about color.

I have been weaving for 40 years, and am a member of Michigan League of Handweavers, HGA, Complex Weavers Guild, and several local guilds. I am a self taught weaver who has benefited from many workshops and conferences over the years. I earned the Handweavers Guild of America Certificate of Excellence - Level 1 in 1986.

Chris Robbins developed a love of broom making at age fourteen when he began working in the broom shop in Renfro Valley, KY. As a high school senior, he was allowed to spend half his day at home making brooms for himself. While in college, he restored an 1860s log cabin to house his broom shop.

Cecilia Ho of Greenville, SC, was born into a family of designers in Hong Kong. Since 2013, Cecilia relocated to South Carolina from Canada, and has taught thousands of students through one-one-one private & group felting workshops. Currently, Cecilia is a South Carolina Verified Teaching Artist running week-long fiber arts integration programs for k4-12th grade students across SC.
