Dr. Bohdan Syroyid is a composer, pianist, and educator serving as a Professor of Music Education at the University of Salamanca. Known for a compositional style that bridges the gap between eras, his work often involves "giving sound to paintings", reimagining classical repertoire within contemporary frameworks, and reviving Ukrainian and Spanish folk music.

For over 33 years as a musician and 29 years as an educator for all grade levels and teachers alike, I have the experience of learning from my previous students and applying more efficient techniques to current and future ones. Much like my students, I work towards learning the most innovative techniques while foreseeing the trends of the future in music and education.

🎹 Hi there! I am Andrea (Italy, born 1982). I received training in jazz and classical music. I graduated from the Amsterdam Conservatory, where I studied jazz piano and completed a program in electronic music in 2010. I am friendly, empathetic and patient, both qualities that have been appreciated throughout the years.

Steve Lucky has been playing boogie woogie and blues piano for over 5 decades, enabling a lifetime love-affair with boogie woogie, blues, swing, vintage rhythm & blues, bebop, and soul jazz. He's the bandleader of Steve Lucky & the Rhumba Bums that was a major player in the 90's retro-swing revival and is still touring the world today.

Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. I focus on the individual needs of my students. I prepare my students for colleges and competitions and auditions if this is their chosen career path. While I'm a performer myself I'm dedicated to my students and their musical development. I expect my students to put the effort and work on the information given about the pieces and the troubling spots.

Jack Schabert is a Twin Cities based drummer, composer, and educator. He performs professionally around the metro area with various jazz groups, and is an Instructor of Percussion, Piano, Drum Set, and Jazz Studies at Opus Music Academy. Jack is pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education at St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota.
