For over 33 years as a musician and 29 years as an educator for all grade levels and teachers alike, I have the experience of learning from my previous students and applying more efficient techniques to current and future ones. Much like my students, I work towards learning the most innovative techniques while foreseeing the trends of the future in music and education.

I began studying piano at the age of 7, developing a deep passion for music and the instrument. I hold a degree in Elementary Education, and after college, I transitioned into teaching piano. With 17 years of experience, I have taught students in diverse music settings, including group, private, online, and studio lessons.

Originally honing my skills on the British jazz scene and holding residencies in restaurants and bars around the country, I then went on to tour the world playing on cruise ships, hotels and festivals. He performs professionally around the metro area with various jazz groups, and is an Instructor of Percussion, Piano, Drum Set, and Jazz Studies at Opus Music Academy.
