I am an American professional trumpeter and educator with more than 30 years of orchestral experience. Since 2007, I have served as Principal Trumpet of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Xalapa in Mexico My teaching is grounded in extensive professional orchestral experience and a simple principle: technique must always serve the music.

I am an experienced instrumental music educator with over a decade of success as a Director of Bands at the middle and high school levels. I earned a Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education (cum laude) from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and hold a Florida Professional Educator Certificate with a Music K-12 endorsement.
