My Background: My musical background is diverse and grounded in classical training. I began my life long love of the cello in 1992 at the age of 10. Since then I have performed and recorded with a variety of musical artists, poets, story tellers, and dancers.

An experienced teacher and performer, Rachel finds creative ways for all her students to learn and grow. Whether beginner, intermediate or advanced she has proven methods to fully engage every student in their learning. Rachel knows the art of cello playing AND is masterful in the art of teaching.

John is a Brazilian American music educator, bassist, and composer. He has taught music lessons since he was a teenager and currently teaches music at The Academy of Math & Science. He played double bass in Arizona with GCC string orchestra and ASU symphony orchestra.

Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me! I had an interest in education at a young age. After heart surgery left me unable to participate in sports or recess in the fifth grade, I became a teacher’s assistant, and my love for teaching began to blossom. In the sixth grade, I began playing the viola. I went on to become viola section leader in high school.

Cellist MaryGrace Bender pursues a multi-faceted career in performance, recording, and music education. As a Suzuki teacher, Bender seeks to reach every child through music and prides herself in her students. Bender teaches privately in Nashville and is on faculty at Union University.

I am a cellist, composer, and conductor with a degree in Music from Harvard University. Alongside my work as a performer, I have taught cello and piano to students of different ages and levels, from children picking up an instrument for the first time to older students preparing for auditions.

Professional harpist Melanie Mashner is passionate about bringing joy to the people around her through music. Newly appointed as the Principal Harpist of the Carmel Symphony Orchestra, Melanie was the Graduate Assistant Instructor in Harp for the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music for the past two years, where she has worked and studied with renowned international concert…

Hi! I’m Lana Obrenović, a cellist from Montenegro currently completing my Master’s degree in cello performance at the Giuseppe Tartini Conservatory in Trieste, Italy. My musical journey began at the age of eight at the Music and Ballet School “Vasa Pavić” in Podgorica, where I first discovered my deep love for the cello.

Luisa Gutiérrez studied the Classical interpretation Master´s Degree at the University of the Arts in Rotterdam, with cello professor Jeroen den Herder and previously, she had obtained the Higher Degree of Music at the Katarina Gurska Higher Center in Madrid, under the tutelage of international concert cellist Adolfo Gutiérrez.

Ryan is an experienced cello, drums, guitar, and piano teacher with over 15 years of experience. He studied at the California Institute of the Arts ("CalArts"), where he earned a BFA in Music Composition. Today, Ryan continues to share his passion for music through private lessons, teaching all ages.
