In my younger years, I gained extensive experience by participating in solo and chamber music competitions. Born in Hong Kong, Johnny Mok started his cello studies at the age of five, and continued in the US in 2001. He earned his Bachelor of Music at the University of Alabama with Carlton McCreery, and Master of Music degree at The Boston Conservatory with Andrew Mark.

Karen Carvalho is a Brazilian cellist and doctoral researcher at the University of Barcelona (Spain). She holds a Master of Music in Cello Performance from Azusa Pacific University in Los Angeles, where she studied with a full scholarship and worked as a teaching assistant.
