I'm glad your curiosity about the violin has led you here-- here's a little about me... After graduating from Oberlin Conservatory, I’ve followed my violin all over the world. I’ve been lucky enough to play with Wynton Marsalis at Tanglewood, support artists like Luciano Pavarotti, Josh Groban and Andrea Bocelli in huge stadium shows, and even tour with popular bands like ODESZA.

I have 33 years of experience studying violin, 26 on piano and 22 on organ. I have a degree in violin performance from Western Connecticut State University, where I graduated summa cum laude. I have played all three instruments professionally for over 20 years, and have 18 years of experience teaching private lessons.

I've been a professional multi-instrumentalist for 10 years in the country/bluegrass/oldtime tradition as part of various acts such as the Dust Settlers and the Wide Awakes, as well as actively performing solo. Will Franke is an accomplished musician with a diverse background, encompassing over 27 years of experience in both performance and education. Specializing in classical violin, Will also excels as a fiddle player, guitarist, mandolinist, songwriter, recording artist and sitarist, embracing genres such as jazz, folk, Indian Classical, and contemporary styles.

Tara Shupe was raised playing traditional American Fiddle Music and Bluegrass. She began playing festival stages at 6 years old and toured the US and Europe playing mandolin and singing with the award winning youth bluegrass band String Fever starting in her teens, taking the stages of Telluride, Rockygrass, La Roche Festival in France, GreyFox, IBMA, and more.

Traditional Irish fiddle player Finóla Lawlor hails from Dublin in Ireland and has been playing traditional Irish Music since the age of six. Finóla has toured globally with Irish dance troupes and plays regularly around Ireland in traditional Irish groups.

I've been playing the violin/fiddle for 35 years, originally studying violin performance at Marywood University before beginning the gradual switch from classical violin to fiddle. Most recently, I've played professionally in a three times Grammy-nominated band from Taiwan: The Muddy Basin Ramblers.
