She is a touring and recording multi-instrumentalist, and loves to share her expertise on these instruments with students of all levels and ages. Hello! My name is Sylvia. I am happy to meet you here at Lessonface where the subjects I love to teach are represented. For languages, I am CEDILS certified for Italian and TESOL certified for English. For music, my strongest instrument is the piano (Royal Conservatory of Music grade 10), then flute (Royal Conservatory of Music grade 8 regional silver medal winner) and then voice.

I graduated from West Virginia University in 2022 with a degree in Music Performance specializing in the flute. I have studied, played and taught music ranging from the Renaissance period to Contemporary Music.

Hi! My name is Alexander Parke. I am a professional clarinetist, ethnomusicologist, and educator working between São Paulo and New York City. I teach clarinet, saxophone, flute, klezmer music, classical music, Brazilian music, Turkish and Greek musical traditions, improvisation, and other world music styles for students of all levels.

Chris Weatherstone is a producer, multi-instrumentalist and actor based in Toronto. He has enjoyed a varied career with many of Canada’s most exciting artists and groups. He produced for JUNO-Nominated rapper KILLY, and performed worldwide as an actor and musician alongside klezmer-folk troubadour Ben Caplan.

I like to work within the Jazz and Brazilian music styles. Besides developing reading skills, improvisation theory and creativity, I stimulate students to learn by heart the repertoire. Every week we study a new tune, memorize it, improvise on it and analyze its melody an harmony.
