Learn from Great Flute Teachers

I'm presently a Band Instructor in the Philippines and I teach students to play Woodwind Instruments (Flute, Clarinet and Saxophone) I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Music - Major in Clarinet Performance from the Royal and Pontifical University of Santo Tomas in España, Manila.

Nicole DeMaio is a composer, performer, and educator who was born in Bogota, Colombia and is currently living in the NYC area. As a woodwind doubler, Nicole performs on flutes, clarinets, saxophones, and bassoon. She has recently worked as a substitute musician on Broadway’s “"Some Like It Hot", "Aladdin”, “1776”, “Kimberly Akimbo”, “A Strange Loop”, and “Beetlejuice”.

I see music as a way for people to connect with their own creativity and open themselves to their inner voice, their true self and their unique path. Born in Central Asia and raised in Europe, I am committed to discovery and I am convinced that learning is a never-ending path. Lately I have been traveling through Europe and Russia to play classical and contemporary chamber music.

Celina Charlier is a Brazilian flutist , living in New York for 25 years. She holds an international concert career, having performed professionally since 1989, as a chamber musician, orchestra musician and soloist, throughout Brazil, USA, Italy, France, Malta, Switzerland, Mexico, Argentina, Uruguay, Sri Lanka and the United Arabic Emirates.

Bruce has been helping children and adults learn to play music for over twenty years. A graduate of the Hartt School of Music, Bruce moved to New Hampshire to be part of the Waldorf school movement and has taught as an elementary classroom teacher and music teacher since 1997.

New York-born flutist Amanda Dame is a soloist in the realm of classical repertoire, described by her audiences as enchanting, moving, and powerful. She has been the recipient of numerous awards, including first-place in the Best Mozart Performance category of the global Great Composer Competition Series, as well as first place awards in the 2014 Central Ohio Flute Association…

Hello! My name is Anna-Maria Vermeulen and I love playing and teaching the flute, piccolo, fife and recorder. I received my Masters degree in flute performance (cum laude) at the University of Pretoria, and I hold a Bachelors and an Honours degree (cum laude) in flute performance. I also hold a Performer’s Licentiate from the University of South Africa.

Elise Barber has a Master's degree in Elementary Music Education, a Bachelor of Secondary Music Education, Orff Level III certification, RCM Piano Grade 10, and over 10 years of experience in musical education. She has worked as an elementary school music teacher, a piano teacher, and an accompanist/singer. Elise is also a licensed Musikgarten instructor.

I'm a flutist, Japanese language instructor, and Alexander Technique teacher based in Seattle, WA. My teaching experience spans over 15 years and includes Japanese language lessons, private flute instruction, chamber music workshops, and an assistantship to a Dalcroze eurhythmics course. I hold degrees from New England Conservatory and the University of Washington.
