I'm Will, a professional oboist based in Chicago. I am currently in the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and have recently appeared with the Peoria Symphony, Elgin Symphony, and Orchestra of St. Luke's in New York City. I am also a doctoral candidate for a DMA in Oboe at the Yale School of Music. I have a Master's of Music from Yale, and a Bachelor of Music from UCLA.

I have been teaching for over 25 years and I have studied with Frank Kocman (student of Nilo Hovey), Larry Allen (student of Robert Bloom & Humbert Lucarelli), Hollis Ulaky (Principal Oboist of Charlotte Symphony Orchestra), and Amanda Hardy (Principal Oboist of Portland Symphony Orchestra- student of John Ferrillo).

Luca Ortolani is a Canadian oboist recognized for his thoughtful musicianship and versatility across solo, orchestral, and chamber settings. Nuria joined the Kwazulu-Natal Philharmonic Orchestra in Durban (South Africa) as Principal Oboe in 2012. She holds a Master's Degree in Oboe Performance from the International School of Music Reina Sofia in Madrid (2010), Spain and from the International University of Andalucía (2011).

I have been teaching piano, strings, and band instruments (flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, bassoon, trumpet, trombone, and drums) for more than 30 years in the public schools as well as privately. I have instructed large groups and ensembles, as well as smaller musical groups in and out of the public schools.

Oboist Nicholas Tisherman joined the Colorado Symphony as Second/Assistant Principal Oboe in September 2017. In addition to his appointment in Denver he has appeared as a guest with orchestras across the country, notably the Philadelphia Orchestra, Sarasota Orchestra, and Los Angeles Philharmonic.

Dr. Scott D. Erickson, D.M., currently serves as the assistant professor of Oboe and Theory at the University of Central Oklahoma and as second oboe in the Yakima Symphony Orchestra in Yakima, Washington.
