I am a highly experienced musician and educator with a B.M dual degree in Jazz Composition and Performance from Berklee College of Music, as well as a Master of Music Theory and Composition Degree in Scoring for Film and Multimedia from New York University. I've been teaching private lessons for more than 15 years.

I'm Alicia, and I'm a classically trained pianist and singer. Since I was a kid, my life has revolved around music, and I'm deeply passionate about sharing my love for it. I perform and compose internationally, blending electronics, piano, and voice into mesmerizing cinematic pieces.

I’ve been teaching singing internationally for over 8 years—both online and in person—and have had the pleasure of working with a wide range of students, from beginners to professionals, as well as kids and adults alike. Music has been a part of my life from the very beginning — I was born into a family of teachers, composers, and musicians, and began my musical journey at the age of four. With over 18 years of professional experience, I graduated from music school, college, and a pedagogical university with degrees in vocal performance and piano.

My name is Omar, and I'm not your typical teacher. Music teachers usually fall into one of two camps: those close to modern music — rap, pop, the street — and those with classical academic training, deep theory and refined technique, but convinced that real music ended sometime after WW1. I sit in between.

I focus on the individual needs of my students. I prepare my students for colleges and competitions and auditions if this is their chosen career path. While I'm a performer myself I'm dedicated to my students and their musical development. I expect my students to put the effort and work on the information given about the pieces and the troubling spots.

I am a professional vocal coach, singer, and musician with over twenty years of international experience in performance, recording, and higher-level music education. Today, my work focuses on helping singers develop a healthy, flexible, and expressive voice for modern styles, particularly pop and jazz, while building strong technical foundations and artistic awareness.
