I'm a musician who plays both cello and double bass, I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2005 with a degree in Jazz Studies, and received a masters degree from University of Michigan for Improvised Music. I've played gigs numbering in the 1000's and have performed all over the world.

Bassist, bandleader and composer Eric Falter has been working professionally in the Boston and New York City area since 2010. He grew up listening to Motown and classic rock, both of which made him a fan of his first instrument, the guitar. In high school, Eric began studying the bass guitar at nearby music shop and fell in love with the instrument.

Ben Shanblatt is a guitarist, composer, and educator based in NYC. He has served as a sideman, session musician, touring guitarist, and bandleader in virtually all styles of contemporary music. Some venues Ben has played include Smalls Jazz Club, The Knitting Factory, The Cutting Room, and Nublu among many others.

A musical trailblazer with an insatiable passion for teaching and learning, Benjamin Wu has taught internationally in the United States and Afghanistan and has performed in music festivals and recital halls around the world including in the United States, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Taiwan, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, and in Australia at the world renown Sydney Opera House.

Antonio Ilioski is active as a soloist and chamber musician, performing extensively in concert halls, cultural institutions, and international venues. He is recognized for his expressive interpretation, refined tone, and strong technical command of the instrument. His performances emphasize emotional depth, musical maturity, and stylistic awareness.

Scott Slapin (b. 1974) grew up in a family of string players in New Jersey and studied violin/viola with Barbara Barstow and Emanuel Vardi and composition with Richard Lane. At eighteen he was one of the youngest graduates of the Manhattan School of Music in New York City.

I am a professional violist living in The Hague, the Netherlands. I studied at the CRR in Boulogne-Billancourt, Trinity College London, the Conservatory of The Hague and the Dutch String Quartet Academy in the Netherlands. I have devoted a large part of my life to playing the string quartet.

Noted for taking audiences to a place of calm and beauty (Blackbook Magazine) and the excellence and exuberance of his playing (Charleston Today), Samuel Thompson enjoys a career that includes performance, education and arts journalism.

Jason is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma School of Music (BMA) and the University of California, Santa Barbara (MA), where he is currently a PhD candidate in ethnomusicology. He has studied music from Ireland, Scotland, India, Indonesia, the Middle East, West Africa, and North America and performed with various ensembles at venues from Nordic Fest in Decorah, IA to…
