Doug Byrkit hailing from St. Louis MO is a singer/songwriter with the national recording artist group “Odds Lane” and the current touring/recording bassist for the International Blues Award winning artist "Mike Zito". Doug graduated from Southern IL University with both a BA and Master’s Degree in Music Performance.

Yaman Akdogan was born in Izmir, Turkey in 1986. He started music by playing guitar at the age of 11. He added the bass to his skills to fill in the bassist position in the school band. Later in high school, borrowing some jazz recordings from a pianist friend, he started getting into jazz music.

Hello, and thank you for visiting my page! I've been a professional bassist in the northeast of USA for over 15 years. I've performed with broadway tours, internationally celebrated and touring rock & indie bands alike, and have produced musicians and artists of all types of genres.

Mark Helias is a renowned bassist and composer who has performed throughout the world for more than four decades. After his studies at Rutgers University (B.A. 1974) and The Yale School of Music (M.M. 1976), he began his international career in the Anthony Braxton Quartet.

Pete began playing electric bass in 1988, self-taught for the first two years, he learned to play by ear on a fretless 4 string bass. It was not long afterwards that he progressed to 5 and 6 string fretted and fretless basses as well as double bass.

Lisa Mezzacappa is a San Francisco Bay Area-based composer, bassist, bandleader, and producer. Called “one of the most imaginative figures on the Bay Area creative jazz scene” by The Mercury News and “a Bay Area treasure” by KQED public radio, she has been an active part of California’s vibrant music community for nearly 20 years.

I am excited to begin teaching online bass students. I have performance experience as a Carnival Cruise Lines musician. Teaching is also something that excites me. I have had students of all ages, and enjoy teaching online or in person. Teaching bass is something I learned while studying music at DePaul University. Please contact me in order to start lessons!

Geno, life-long musician from Austin, Texas, grew up in the renowned 78704 zip code surrounded by some of Austin's most iconic musical legends like Rocky Erickson, Marcia Ball, and Jimmie and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Geno started playing piano and taking voice lessons at age seven and later attended Austin High School, playing tuba in band and orchestra.

I am a principal lecturer and head of the bass department at Leeds Conservatoire in the UK. I teach Double, Electric bass, music theory, rhythm and other subjects closely related to music education. I have studied with Charlie Haden on Double Bass and Jeff Berlin on electric bass at California Institute of the Arts in LA where i graduated with a Masters degree.

BASS and GUITAR LESSONS as well as THEORY and AUDITION PREP Jesse teaches at the Berklee/Victor Wooten bass camp, Berklee Summer Program, Milton and Phillips Academies, as well as his private teaching studio.
