Hello and thanks for visiting my profile page. My love of music and playing the violin and viola began very early through my school music program. To continue my pursuit after graduation, I was awarded a scholarship to study music performance and education at Colorado University in Boulder and Brandon University in Manitoba, Canada.

Greetings! My name is Ellen Kidwell. I have about 11 years of teaching both private lessons and currently hold a position as an Orchestra Director in Dallas Texas. I perform regularly on both violin and viola. I have won the Texas Music Educator's Association Collegiate Educator Award, and most recently the Texas Orchestra Directors Association Young Educator of the year.

I am a classically trained violinist/violist who enjoys sharing her knowledge of these instruments with others of all ages. I have been playing/performing for many decades now and teaching for about 30 years. I really enjoy beginning students as well as intermediate and seasoned players.

Violinist and Violist, Rebecca Phillips, has distinguished herself as a chamber musician, improv artist, and teacher. Ms. Phillips has performed in many of the world's most celebrated concert halls including Carnegie Hall, The Sydney Opera House, and Shanghai Oriental Art Center. Ms.

A musical trailblazer with an insatiable passion for teaching and learning, Benjamin Wu has taught internationally in the United States and Afghanistan and has performed in music festivals and recital halls around the world including in the United States, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Taiwan, Azerbaijan, Afghanistan, and in Australia at the world renown Sydney Opera House.

Hi! I have 35+ years of teaching experience in violin and viola. I have also had a full-time viola career in full-time symphony orchestras since 1985. With the current pandemic, it is an ideal time to expand my teaching studio since live performances are likely going to be on hold for the foreseeable future.

Carolina Neves is a Brazilian-American violinist/violist living in the St. Louis, MO. Carolina began her studies at the age of 5 in Belém, Brazil. She studied at the Carlos Gomes Conservatory under Evgeni Ratchev and Nikholai Khit. At the age of 15, she immigrated to the United States with her family to pursue her violin studies.

I have played classical music since three years old. I have taken over 500 lessons myself. I started on violin but switched to viola in high school. I now have many years experience with both. I have found that many violinists tend to stick to classical or fiddle. I am very different. I have experience with many different types of music.

With 16 Dmitry started studying with Elena Mazor at the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music. In the course of his early career he already claimed several prizes from renowned international competitions such as the 2006 International “Remember Enescu” Violin Competition in Romania and in 2012 the Clairmont Competition in Israel.

Hi! I'm Holly and I started playing violin at 14 years old, which is actually kind of late for most string players. I believe you can start playing an instrument at any age though and you're never too old to pick up a new hobby! I was a very serious player and I made progress quickly.
