Learn from Great Violin Teachers

I am a professional violinist, performer, and producer who currently resides in Berlin. I started playing the violin back in 2006 and went on to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in performing violin and viola in 2015 from Tehran Music University. To date, I have released two albums which are titled “Batlagh e Saz Khooni” and “Pieces From Streets”.

Zack Rapp grew up north of Chicago in the small town of Libertyville, IL. From a young age it was clear that he was drawn to music when he began taking violin lessons at age 9, and was inspired by his brother to pick up the guitar a year later at age ten.

I am a violin teacher with 16 years of musical training and experience in solo and orchestral performance. I love teaching and have taught ages 7-20+. I'm a Senior Violin Major at the University of South Alabama, and a member of the USA Honors College. During my time in school I have been a member of the USA Orchestra, String Ensemble, and Celtic Ensemble.

Music has been the foundation of my life for decades. I hold a Ph.D. in Violin Performance and have performed as a soloist, chamber musician, orchestral player, and educator throughout my career. My experiences in both performance and teaching have shaped my belief that technical excellence and meaningful human connection are equally essential to musical growth.

I am a 2018 graduate of Florida Atlantic University. My bachelor's degree is in Music Business however, I had a concentration in violin performance as well as business. I served as Principal 2nd violin in the University Symphony from Fall '15 - Spring '16, Associate Concert Master from Fall '16 - Spring '17, and Concert Master from Fall '17 - Spring '18.

David Ibarra is a violinist and teacher with over two decades of performance experience and more than eight years of dedicated teaching. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Violin Performance from The Master’s University, where he studied under accomplished mentors who shaped his artistry and pedagogy.

Hi! My name is Joe Lorang and I teach violin. As a professional violinist, I am a member of the Glimmerglass Festival Orchestra and have also performed with Boston Lyric Opera, Marsh Chapel Collegium, Northwest Sinfonia, and New World Symphony.

Within a year, Sheila entered her first national fiddling competition, and four years later, she began competing internationally.

Julianne Oh, violin, having enjoyed plenty of diverse repertoire is an avid listener and musician of many genres in classical music. A native of the San Francisco Bay area, Ms. Oh served as concertmaster of the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra with which she made her solo debut of the Mendelssohn violin concerto at the age of thirteen.

Hello! My name is Nicole, and I am a violinist, music educator, and certified elementary and special education teacher. I earned a bachelor's degree in Music Media with a concentration in violin from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in 2020. I have been playing both piano and violin for over 20 years now and have experience both teaching and performing.
