I am a enthusiastic and energetic teacher with more than 20 years experience of sharing my love and knowledge of music and violin/viola playing with students of all ages. I come from the UK where I gained my BA degree in Music from the University of Southampton and a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance from Trinity College of Music, London.

When I started learning the violin in school at 10 years old, I fell in love. I completed a Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2012. I also graduated with a Master of Music in Music Education degree from the same school in 2016.

My passion is music! I started to play the piano and violin when I was five years old. Through the years, I learned many instruments, but finally focused on violin. Hello! I'm Ana and I'm a graduated violist, a permanent member of Symphony orchestra "Stanislav Binicki" in Belgrade, Serbia. Before passing the audition in orchestra in January of 2017, I was a professor of viola and violin in a special boarding school for musically gifted children "Skola za muzicke talente Cuprija", for five years.

Ruthanne is a dedicated musician and educator who is passionate about guiding students through their unique musical journeys. She has studied and practiced the viola under master musicians at San Jacinto College and the University of Texas at Brownsville, where she served as principal violist at both institutions throughout her academic career while earning her degrees.

I have a Master degree in violin performance from UND and I am finishing (ABD) a Doctoral’s program at the University of Minnesota. Also I taught violin to students of all ages, and performed as a soloist, a recitalist and a chamber musician. I had played in Japan, China, Brazil, Argentina, Italy and all over the United States.
