I am a enthusiastic and energetic teacher with more than 20 years experience of sharing my love and knowledge of music and violin/viola playing with students of all ages. I come from the UK where I gained my BA degree in Music from the University of Southampton and a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance from Trinity College of Music, London.

Overall Teacher of the Year on Lessonface! Alison holds a Masters in Music Ed. Fun, experienced & patient teacher. Alison has taught over 20,000 lessons in various instruments and voice to over 550 students in private lessons and small groups, in person and online. Her students range from age 3 through adults. When I started learning the violin in school at 10 years old, I fell in love. I completed a Bachelor of Music in Music Education degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2012. I also graduated with a Master of Music in Music Education degree from the same school in 2016.

I am a student at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Maribor and even though I am young, I have always had a passion for teaching. It could be helping with the orchestra or leading sectional rehearsals, it was never a burden to me. Quite the opposite.

Jenna, with a BMA in Violin Performance and a Master's in Orchestral Career Studies, boasts 26 years of violin mastery. She developed a flourishing studio during her Master’s program. As Violin Instructor at Brookfield School, Jenna received first hand training in the Suzuki Method and expanded the program into a full orchestra.

Violinist Cady Finlayson holds a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Violin performance from the New School Mannes College of Music in New York City. She also studied Irish fiddle at the Blas World Music Centre in Limerick, Ireland.
